Got a little late start because of staying in bed. The eclipse was already in progress.

The sun was totally blocked by moon, it was 9:24:08 am.

After one minute, I took another picture. It’s 9:25:10 am.

Darkness and  cheers from the crowds.  9:26:48 am.

We could see Baily's beads, amazing.  9:28:54 am.

PS: As the moon "grazes" by the Sun during a solar eclipse, the rugged lunar limb topography allows beads of sunlight to shine through in some places, and not in others. This effect is called Baily's beads in honor of Francis Baily who first provided an exact explanation of the phenomenon in 1836.
